Amgen (AMGN) Tops Q1 EPS by 30c, Raises FY Guidance

Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN) reported Q1 EPS of $2.90, $0.30 better than the analyst estimate of $2.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.53 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.32 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Amgen sees FY2016 EPS of $10.85-$11.20, versus prior guidance of $10.60-$11.00 and the consensus of $10.82.
