HealthSouth (HLS) Tops Q1 EPS by 6c, Raises FY Guidance

HealthSouth (NYSE: HLS) reported Q1 EPS of $0.61, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.55. Revenue for the quarter came in at $909.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $891.84 million.

GUIDANCE:

HealthSouth sees FY2016 EPS of $2.37-$2.49, versus prior guidance of $2.32-$2.44 and the consensus of $2.39. HealthSouth sees FY2016 revenue of $3.58-3.68 billion, versus prior guidance of $3.55-3.65 billion and the consensus of $3.63 billion.
