Dril-Quip (DRQ) Tops Q1 EPS by 14c

Dril-Quip (NYSE: DRQ) reported Q1 EPS of $0.97, $0.14 better than the analyst estimate of $0.83. Revenue for the quarter came in at $166.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $167.4 million.

he first quarter 2016 results were favorably impacted by an after-tax foreign exchange gain of $5.4 million, or $0.14 per diluted share, as compared to an after-tax foreign exchange gain of $4.8 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, during the first quarter of 2015.

GUIDANCE:

Dril-Quip sees FY2016 EPS of $0.60-$0.70, versus the consensus of $0.67.

Dril-Quip sees FY2016 EPS of $2.45-$2.65, versus the consensus of $2.52.
