Rockwell Automation (ROK) Declares $0.725 Quarterly Dividend; Adds $1B to Buyback Plan

Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.725 per share, or $2.9 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on June 10, 2016, to stockholders of record on May 16, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of May 12, 2016.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2.6 percent.
The company also authorized the company to expend up to an additional $1 billion to repurchase shares of Rockwell Automation common stock. This is in addition to the authorization on June 4, 2014 to repurchase $1 billion worth of common stock, of which approximately $197 million was remaining as of April 5, 2016.
