KeyBanc downgraded A. Schulman (NASDAQ: SHLM) from Overweight to Sector Weight and removed its price target. The change follows its negative pre-announcement.

Analyst Michael Sison said, "We are downgrading shares of A. Schulman from Overweight to Sector Weight as we no longer see the current risk/reward dynamics as favorable following the negative earnings pre-announcement. While we continue to believe Citadel can potentially be a good strategic fit for SHLM given it complements its legacy business, increases EBITDA margins and provides a better geographic footprint with solid long-term growth potential, we believe the near-term risks outweigh the rewards given the lingering Lucent quality issues and delayed timing for earnings accretion."
