UPDATE: Equity Residential (EQR) Cuts Qtr. Dividend 8.8% to 50.375c/Share; Yields 2.8%

Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.50375 per share, or $2.015 annualized. The dividend is an 8.8 percent reduction from the prior rate of $0.5525.

The dividend will be payable on April 8, 2016, to stockholders of record on March 24, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of March 22, 2016.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.8 percent.
