Medifast (MED) Misses Q4 EPS by 2c, Offers Q1 & FY Guidance

Medifast (NYSE: MED) reported Q4 EPS of $0.33, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $61.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $62.98 million.

GUIDANCE:

Medifast sees Q1 2016 EPS of $0.30-$0.33, versus the consensus of $0.44. Medifast sees Q1 2016 revenue of $68-71 million, versus the consensus of $72.98 million.

• For fiscal year 2016, the Company expects revenue from continuing operations to be in the range of $273.0 million to $280.0 million and earnings per diluted share from continuing operations in the range of $1.73 to $1.78 per diluted share
