AeroVironment (AVAV) Tops Q3 EPS by 22c

AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV) reported Q3 EPS of $0.27, $0.22 better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $67.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $70.35 million.

As of January 30, 2016, funded backlog (unfilled firm orders for which funding is currently appropriated to us under a customer contract) was $79.7 million compared to $64.7 million as of April 30, 2015.
