Carrols Restaurant Group (TAST) Tops Q4 EPS by 12c; FY16 Revenue Guidance Outpaces

Carrols Restaurant Group (NASDAQ: TAST) reported Q4 EPS of $0.18, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $229.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $226.77 million.

Comparable restaurant sales increased 5.1% (on a comparable 14 week basis) compared to a 3.6% increase in the prior year period.

GUIDANCE:

Carrols Restaurant Group sees FY2016 revenue of $930-955 million, versus the consensus of $892.4 million. Comps expected to increase 2 - 4 percent.
