Stage Stores (SSI) Misses Q4 EPS Views; Issues Light FY16 Outlook

Stage Stores (NYSE: SSI) reported Q4 EPS of $0.51, $0.55 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $502.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $501.48 million.

For the fourth quarter, comparable sales decreased 3.4%.

GUIDANCE:

Stage Stores sees FY2016 EPS of $0.40-$0.60, versus the consensus of $0.74. Stage Stores sees FY2016 revenue of $1.53-1.56 billion, versus the consensus of $1.57 billion.
