Energy Transfer Equity (ETE) Misses Q4 EPS by 6c

Energy Transfer Equity (NYSE: ETE) reported Q4 EPS of $0.30, $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $9.54 billion versus the consensus estimate of $13.04 billion.

Distributable Cash Flow, as adjusted, per unit was $0.32 for the three months ended December 31, 2015, an increase of 45% compared to the three months ended December 31, 2014. ETE’s net income attributable to partners was $314 million for the three months ended December 31, 2015, as compared to net income of $113 million for the same period last year, an increase of $201 million, including the impacts of non-cash goodwill impairments in 2014 and 2015.
