Capella Education (CPLA) Raises Quarterly Dividend 5.4% to $0.39; Adds $50M to Buyback Plan

Capella Education (NASDAQ: CPLA) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.39 per share, or $1.56 annualized. This is a 5.4% increase from the prior dividend of $0.37.
The dividend will be payable on January 15, 2016, to stockholders of record on December 23, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of December 21, 2015.
The annual yield on the dividend is 3.4 percent.
The board of directors also approved a $50 million increase to its share repurchase program. This increase is in addition to the $6.2 million that currently remains under the share repurchase program.
