CHC Group (HELI) Tops Q2 EPS by 11c; Reverse Split Approved by Holders

CHC Group (NYSE: HELI) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.41), $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.52). Revenue for the quarter came in at $332.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $365.5 million.
On December 7, 2015, the Company’s shareholders approved a proposal to authorize the Board of Directors ("the Board”) to effect a reverse share split of the Company’s ordinary shares by way of consolidation. As previously announced on December 1, 2015, the Company plans to implement a reverse share split, to become effective as of the open of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on December 11, 2015, whereby each 30 ordinary shares (issued and unissued), of a nominal or par value of $0.0001, would be converted to 1 ordinary share of a nominal or par value of $0.003, subject to final approval by the Board on December 10, 2015.
