Big Lots (BIG) Misses Q3 EPS by 1c; Updates FY15 EPS Outlook

Big Lots (NYSE: BIG) reported Q3 EPS of ($0.01), $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.12 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.12 billion.

Net sales for the third quarter of fiscal 2015 increased 0.8% to $1,116.5 million, as our comparable store sales increase was partially offset by a lower store count compared to last year.

GUIDANCE:

Big Lots sees FY2015 EPS of $2.95-$3.00, versus the consensus of $2.96.
