Symantec (SYMC) Misses Q1 EPS by 3c; Issues Light Q2 Outlook

Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.40, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.53 billion.

Symantec sees Q2 2016 EPS of $0.40-$0.43, versus the consensus of $0.45. Symantec sees Q2 2016 revenue of $1.485-1.525 billion, versus the consensus of $1.54 billion.

Symantec sees FY2016 EPS of $1.80-$1.90, versus the consensus of $1.86. Symantec sees FY2016 revenue of $6.21-6.35 billion, versus the consensus of $6.27 billion.
