Dean Foods (DF) Tops Q2 EPS by 7c, Offers Q3 EPS Guidance

Dean Foods (NYSE: DF) reported Q2 EPS of $0.33, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.01 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.06 billion.

Dean Foods sees Q3 2015 EPS of $0.17-$0.27, versus the consensus of $0.21.

"For the third quarter, with expected volume declines in the low single digits, slightly increasing raw milk costs and taking normal seasonality and other factors into account, we expect adjusted diluted earnings of between $0.17 and $0.27 per share."
