Newell Rubbermaid (NWL) Tops Q2 EPS by 2c; Boosts FY15 Outlook

Newell Rubbermaid (NYSE: NWL) reported Q2 EPS of $0.64, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.62. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.56 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.54 billion.

Newell Rubbermaid sees FY2015 EPS of $2.14 - $2.20, versus prior guidance of $2.10 - $2.18 and the consensus of $2.16. Full year 2015 core sales guidance revised upward to 4 to 5 percent from 3.5 to 4.5 percent.
