Kraton Performance Polymers (NYSE: KRA) reported Q2 EPS of $0.02, $0.39 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $255.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $287.81 million.
"Given the impact of the second quarter operational issues, we continue to expect full-year adjusted gross profit per ton to be $900 to $925 per ton. We remain on track to deliver $18.0 million of cost reductions in 2015, and we continue to execute on the strategic initiatives outlined in our investor day in mid-June, including an overall cost-out program expected to yield $70 million in savings in 2018. We look forward to providing you with updates on our progress over the balance of the year."
