Unum Group (UNM) Misses Q2 EPS by 1c, Offers FY Outlook

Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) reported Q2 EPS of $0.89, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.90. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.67 billion.

Outlook

The Company anticipates growth in after-tax operating earnings per share for full-year 2015 to be towards the lower end of the outlook range announced in December 2014 of two percent to five percent.
