Stanley Black & Decker (SWK) Raises Quarterly Dividend 5.8% to $0.55; 2.1% Yield

Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.55 per share, or $2.2 annualized. This is a 5.8% increase from the prior dividend of $0.52.
The dividend will be payable on September 22, 2015, to stockholders of record on September 4, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of September 2, 2015.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2.1 percent.
Stanley Black & Decker's Chairman and CEO, John F. Lundgren, commented, "A strong and growing dividend remains a cornerstone of our shareholder value proposition. The increase we announced today reflects our confidence in the cash generation potential for the company and maintains our compelling dividend payout."
