WellCare Health Plans (WCG) Tops Q1 EPS by 21c, Maintains FY EPS Guidance

WellCare Health Plans (NYSE: WCG) reported Q1 EPS of $0.49, $0.21 better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.39 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.5 billion.

WellCare continues to expect adjusted earnings per diluted share in the range of $3.15 to $3.40 for the full-year 2015 (consensus $3.39). Revenue is seen at $13.5 to $13.8 billion vs the consensus of 13.98 billion..
