Health Net (HNT) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c; Boosts FY15 Western Region, Government Contracts EPS Outlook

Health Net (NYSE: HNT) reported Q1 EPS of $0.74, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.69. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.12 billion.

HNT increased its diluted earnings per share guidance for the combined Western Region and Government Contracts segments by $0.10 to a range of $3.25 to $3.35.
