BB&T Corp. (BBT) Raises Quarterly Dividend 12.5% to $0.27; 2.9% Yield

BB&T Corp. (NYSE: BBT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.27 per share, or $1.08 annualized. This is a 12.5% increase from the prior dividend of $0.24.

The dividend will be payable on June 1, 2015, to stockholders of record on May 15, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of May 13, 2015.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.9 percent.
