A.M. Castle (CAS) Posts Q1 Loss of 88c/Share

A.M. Castle (NYSE: CAS) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.88), which may not compare with the analyst estimate of ($0.43). Revenue for the quarter came in at $222.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $243.3 million.

First quarter 2015 results were negatively impacted by $6.2 million foreign currency transaction losses and first quarter 2014 results included $0.7 million of foreign currency transaction losses. Adjusted EBITDA net loss for first quarter 2015 was $5.7 million compared with adjusted EBITDA of $0.9 million in first quarter 2014.
