Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Raises Quarterly Dividend 7.1% to $0.75; 3% Yield

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.75 per share, or $3 annualized. This is a 7.1% increase from the prior dividend of $0.70.
The dividend will be payable on June 9, 2015, to stockholders of record on May 26, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of May 21, 2015.
The annual yield on the dividend is 3 percent.
"In recognition of our 2014 results, strong financial position and confidence in the future of Johnson & Johnson, the Board has voted to increase the quarterly dividend for the 53rd consecutive year," said Alex Gorsky, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company.
