Meredith Corp. (MDP) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c, Offers Q4, FY15 Guidance

Meredith Corp. (NYSE: MDP) reported Q3 EPS of $0.71, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.69. Revenue for the quarter came in at $389.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $401.65 million.

Meredith Corp. sees FY2015 EPS of $3.26-$3.31, may not compare to the consensus of $3.29.

OUTLOOK

Looking more closely at the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015 compared to the prior-year period before special items:

• Total Company revenues are expected to be up high-single digits.
• Total Local Media Group revenues are expected to be up mid-teens.
• Total National Media Group revenues are expected to be up mid- to high-single digits.
