SpartanNash (SPTN) Tops Q4 EPS by 7c, Offers Gudiance, Names COO

SpartanNash (NASDAQ: SPTN) reported Q4 EPS of $0.49, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.42. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.96 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.97 billion.

SpartanNash sees FY2015 EPS of $1.89-$1.98, versus the consensus of $1.96.

Dennis Eidson, President and Chief Executive Officer of SpartanNash Company (the “Company”) (Nasdaq: SPTN), announced today that the Company has promoted two Executive Vice Presidents to key positions within the company. Dave Staples, SpartanNash’s current Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Derek Jones, Executive Vice President, Food Distribution, has been promoted to President, Wholesale and Distribution Operations. Both appointments are effective March 1, 2015.
