Dollar Tree (DLTR) Tops Q4 EPS by 1c; Guides Q1 EPS Below Views

Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) reported Q4 EPS of $1.16, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.48 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.47 billion.

Consolidated same-store sales increased 5.6% on a constant currency basis, compared to a 1.2% increase in the prior-year period. Adjusted for the impact of Canadian currency fluctuations, the same-store sales increase was 5.5%.

Dollar Tree sees Q1 2015 EPS of $0.69-$0.74, versus the consensus of $0.77. Dollar Tree sees Q1 2015 revenue of $2.15-2.20 billion, versus the consensus of $2.21 billion.

Dollar Tree sees FY2015 EPS of $3.30-$3.50, versus the consensus of $3.57. Dollar Tree sees FY2015 revenue of $9.21-9.45 billion, versus the consensus of $9.40 billion.
