Cobalt International Energy (CIE) Posts Q4 Loss of 53c/Share

Cobalt International Energy (NYSE: CIE) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.53), which may not compare with the analyst estimate of ($0.25).

The net loss for the fourth quarter of 2014 includes $126 million of impairment charges associated primarily with the Mupa and Loengo exploration wells drilled offshore Angola and $50 million for leasehold properties in the Gulf of Mexico.
