Jive Software (JIVE) Tops Q1 EPS by 3c, Offers Guidance, Elisa Steele To Be Chief Executive Officer

Jive Software (NASDAQ: JIVE) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.07), $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.10). Revenue for the quarter came in at $43.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $47.2 million.
Jive Software sees Q1 2015 EPS of ($0.05)-($0.07), versus the consensus of ($0.06). Jive Software sees Q1 2015 revenue of $46-47 million, versus the consensus of $48.17 million.
Jive Software sees FY2015 EPS of ($0.22)-($0.29), versus the consensus of ($0.20). Jive Software sees FY2015 revenue of $195-200 million, versus the consensus of $205.85 million.
Jive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: JIVE) today announced that Elisa Steele has been named chief executive officer. In addition, Steele has been appointed to the Jive Board of Directors, effective immediately. In her role as CEO and president, she will oversee the full leadership responsibilities and day-to-day operations of the company. Bill Lanfri, who had been appointed with Steele to "Office of the CEO" during the CEO search, will return to his role as an independent member on the Jive Board of Directors.
Prior to her promotion to president and Office of the CEO in November, Steele served as Jive's executive vice president of marketing and products, and previously chief marketing officer. Her background includes more than 20 years of leadership experience in high technology, including executive management roles at Microsoft, Skype, Yahoo and NetApp.
