Hanover Insurance Group (THG) Tops Q4 EPS by 54c

Hanover Insurance Group (NYSE: THG) reported Q4 EPS of $2.00, $0.54 better than the analyst estimate of $1.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.29 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.08 billion.

Operating income was $79.6 million, or $1.77 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2014, compared to $59.6 million, or $1.33 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter.
