Goldman Sachs downgraded MarkWest Energy (NYSE: MWE) from Buy to Neutral with a price target of $64.00 (from $78.00).
Analyst Theodore Durbin said, "Based on the implied 16% total return potential to our new $64, 12-month price target (vs. 25% for G&P focused MLPs), we now see greater relative upside in other companies in our coverage universe. The units underperformed due to a slower than expected acceleration in distribution growth and the recent sharp downturn in commodity prices."
