CarMax (NYSE: KMX) reported Q3 EPS of $0.60, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.54. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.41 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.28 billion.
Comparable store used unit sales benefited from a combination of factors, including our sixth consecutive quarter of growth in customer traffic, as well as improved conversion.
- Used unit sales in comparable stores increased 7.4%.
- Total used unit sales rose 14.0%.
- Total wholesale unit sales increased 10.0%.
