Pep Boys (PBY) Posts Q3 Loss of 3c/Share; Comps Rose 1.2%

Pep Boys (NYSE: PBY) reported Q3 EPS of ($0.03), $0.15 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $517.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $512.6 million.

Comparable sales increased 1.2%, consisting of an increase of 6.1% in comparable service revenue and a decrease of 0.2% in comparable merchandise sales.
