Kroger (KR) Tops Q3 EPS by 8c

Kroger (NYSE: KR) reported Q3 EPS of $0.69, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $25 billion versus the consensus estimate of $24.81 billion.

Comps rose 5.6%.

Kroger sees FY2014 EPS of $3.32-$3.36, versus the consensus of $3.29.
