The Buckle (BKE) Misses Q3 EPS by 2c; Comps Fall 0.3%

The Buckle (NYSE: BKE) reported Q3 EPS of $0.84, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.86. Revenue for the quarter came in at $292.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $293.75 million.

Comparable store net sales for the 13-week period ended November 1, 2014 decreased 0.3 percent from comparable store net sales for the prior year 13-week period ended November 2, 2013. Online sales (which are not included in comparable store sales) increased 3.8 percent to $22.8 million for the 13-week period ended November 1, 2014, compared to net sales of $22.0 million for the 13-week period ended November 2, 2013.
