WuXi PharmaTech (WX) Tops Q3 EPS by 6c, Raises FY14 Guidance

WuXi PharmaTech (NYSE: WX) reported Q3 EPS of $0.54, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.48. Revenue for the quarter came in at $173.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $172.6 million.

WuXi PharmaTech sees FY2014 EPS of $1.83-$1.86, versus prior guidance of $1.82-$1.86 and the consensus of $1.84. WuXi PharmaTech sees FY2014 revenue of $670-672 million, versus prior guidance of $666-668 million and the consensus of $671.47 million.

Fourth-Quarter 2014 Financial Guidance

WuXi PharmaTech provides the following fourth-quarter 2014 financial guidance:

• Total net revenues of $186-$188 million
• GAAP diluted earnings per ADS of $0.45-$0.48
• Non-GAAP diluted earnings per ADS of $0.50-$0.53
