PlayBook
On September 27, 2010, Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM) revealed its "PlayBook" tablet computer that will be in competition with the already dominate iPad from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL).
The PlayBook will sport WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, but will require a link with a BlackBerry smartphone to access a cellular network.
RIM plans to ship the device to enterprise customers and developers in October, and the PlayBook is scheduled to hit stores in early 2011
