Microsemi (Nasdaq: MSCC) 32% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.36, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter was $130.6 million, versus the consensus of $131.94 million. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.15-$0.20, versus the consensus of $0.32.

Citizens Banking (Nasdaq: CRBC) 29% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $1.56, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.12).

Technitrol (NYSE: TNL) 27% LOWER; reports preliminary Q4 loss of $0.06, versus the analyst estimate of $0.09 and compared to a gain of $0.41 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $212.8 million, versus the consensus of $252.23 million. In order to reduce leverage, Technitrol is managing all operations to maximize cash generation.
