Dr. Kenneth Shubin Stein

Spencer Capital Dr. Kenneth Shubin Stein, MD, CFA, is the manger and founder of Spencer Capital, a New York based hedge fund. The fund specializes in deep value investing through investment tools including equities, LEAPS and options, and credit derivatives.

Prior to founding Spencer Capital, Dr. Shubin Stein was a portfolio manger at Promethean Investment Group. Before Promethean, he co-founded Compo Asset Management LLC, a US-based investment partnership which later merged into Promethean Investment Group. Dr. Shubin Stein graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Columbia College.
