BWS Financial Upgrades Juniper Networks (JNPR) to Hold

July 15, 2009 8:35 AM EDT

BWS Financial upgrades Juniper Networks (Nasdaq: JNPR) from Sell to Hold with a $22 price target.
The firm said, The environment seems to have improved over the last few months with enterprise customers spending a little more than the earlier in the year. Service provider spending remains low compared to last year, but could see a bump in the second half of the year. We believe JNPR still faces tough competition from Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO) and Brocade Communications (Nasdaq: BRCD). We are not recommending buying JNPR shares because the guidance remains questionable when the Company reports next week due to pricing pressure within the industry.
