The bloodletting in Facebook, Inc. (Nasdaq: FB) continues Thursday. Shares are down another 3.3 percent to $27.26. The stock is now down 28 percent from its IPO price and down over $30 billion in market value.
The forward P/E of FB is about 50x. This versus 12x for Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL), 13x for Google (Nasdaq: GOOG), 135x for LinkedIn (Nasdaq: LNKD) and 174x for Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN).
