Peerless Systems (PRLS) Reports a Q2 Loss
Peerless Systems Corporation (Nasdaq: PRLS) reported a Q2 net loss of $0.03 per basic share, versus net income of $0.07 per basic and diluted share, in fiscal 2008's second quarter. The company, as a result of the KMC asset sale, reported net income of $15.3 million, or $0.87 per basic share and $0.84 per diluted share, in this year's first quarter.
Second quarter revenues were $3.3 million versus $6.9 million in the second quarter a year ago, and $3.2 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2009.
Peerless Systems Corporation (Peerless) licenses, develops and sells imaging and networking technologies and components to the digital document markets, which include manufacturers of color, monochrome printers and multifunction office products.[SM]
