General Mills (GIS) Repurchased 20M Shares In 2009
With its fourth quarter earnings report today, General Mills (NYSE: GIS) disclosed that during fiscal 2009 the company repurchased 20 million shares of common stock at an average price of $64. During the first nine months of 2009, GIS repurchased 18.9 million of these shares.
Shares of GIS clsoed up 3.9% today to $58.18 following solid Q4 results and FY10 guidance.
