Gildan Activewear Inc. (NYSE: GIL) 29.8% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.42, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter came in at $481.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $497.5 million. Sees Q1 2012 EPS of $-0.40, versus the consensus of $0.29. Gildan sees Q1 2012 revenue of $300 million, versus the consensus of $451.06 million. For FY2012, Gildan sees EPS of $1.30, versus the consensus of $2.27, and revenue of $1.9 billion, versus the consensus of $2.15 billion.

Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (Nasdaq: PEIX) 20% HIGHER; has purchased an additional 7% ownership interest in New PE Holdco LLC, the owner of the four Pacific Ethanol production facilities with a combined annual production capacity of 200 million gallons. The company paid $4.5 million in cash for the additional interest. This purchase brings the company's total ownership interest to 27%. On October 6, 2010, the company paid $23.3 million in cash for its initial 20% ownership interest.

Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS) 15.8% LOWER; reported Q2 loss of $0.17 per share, $0.20 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.89 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.98 billion. The company expects full year EBITDA to be at the lower end of the previously issued range of $210 million to $250 million.
Finisar Corp (Nasdaq: FNSR) 11.7% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.23, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $241.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $242.27 million.
