Alcan Inc. (NYSE: AL) 33.8% HIGHER; Alcoa Inc. (NYSE: AA) offered to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Alcan for US$58.60 in cash and 0.4108 of a share of Alcoa common stock for each outstanding common share of Alcan. Alcoa expects to begin its offer on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. Based on Alcoa's closing stock price on May 4, 2007, the offer has a value of US$73.25 per Alcan share or approximately US$33 billion in enterprise value.

IDM Pharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDMI) 33% LOWER; U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee to review company's Junovan drug on May 9th. Briefing document shows drug not effective in childhood bone cancer.

Ohio Casualty Corporation (NASDAQ: OCAS) 29.8% HIGHER; Liberty Mutual will acquire all outstanding shares of common stock of Ohio Casualty for $44.00 per share in cash. The transaction is valued at approximately $2.7 billion.

Voxware (NASDAQ: VOXW) 24% HIGHER; Stock may be seeing continued momentum after announcing that the Company received a letter from The Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. indicating that the Company again satisfies Nasdaq Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(2)(B) for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market as the Company has regained a minimum stockholders' equity of $2,500,000.

Rocky Brands (Nasdaq: RCKY) 19.7% HIGHER; Reports Q1 earnings of $0.14 per share, 10 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $61.7 million versus the consensus of $57.8 million. Reaffirms forecast.

Bombay Co (NYSE: BBA) 17.7% LOWER; Company files annual reports, issuing 'Going Concern'. Company also says it's in negotiations with potential lenders for extra facilities.

AVI BioPharma (Nasdaq: AVII) 11.9% HIGHER; Announced the receipt of three signed contracts valued at $7.1 million from the Department of Defense for the development of therapeutic drugs against potential bioterrorism agents, using AVI's NEUGENE® technology.

PC Connection Inc. (Nasdaq: PCCC) 10.4% LOWER; Stock moving lower with no specific news releases.

TRX, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRXI) 8.6% HIGHER; MasterCard Worldwide (NYSE: MA) and TRX announced an agreement to develop the MasterCard Travel Dashboard, a web-based business intelligence tool that will enable companies to evaluate, analyze and optimize travel programs. The proprietary tool will leverage detailed information from MasterCard's corporate card program and TRX's advanced travel data reporting tools to provide greater visibility into the performance and compliance of travel programs.

Wendy's International (NYSE: WEN) 8.1% HIGHER; Stock seeing interest as company recently announced it was up for sale. Also hearing hedge funds are actively accumulating shares in anticipation of a bid.

Armor Holdings (NYSE: AH) 5.3% HIGHER; Entered into a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by BAE Systems for $88 per share.
