BioDelivery Sciences Int'l (Nasdaq: BDSI) 58.4% HIGHER; Announced statistically significant results with BEMA(TM) Fentanyl in cancer patients with breakthrough pain in its pivotal Phase III efficacy clinical trial for the product. The results are based on achievement of the primary efficacy endpoint of the trial, Summary of Pain Intensity Difference (SPID), compared to placebo.

EVCI Career Colleges Holding (NASDAQ: EVCI) 45% HIGHER; Entered into a definitive agreement with ComVest Group Holding LLC, and participating EVCI management (collectively with ComVest Investment Partners III, L.P., an affiliate of "ComVest") that will provide gross proceeds to EVCI of $10,100,000 and the ability to secure letters of credit of up to $6,700,000 ( the "Financing"). The agreement with ComVest provides for a closing by May 24, 2007, with no conditions other than the wiring of funds and the issuance of the securities. EVCI will restructure its bank debt (the "April 2007 Debt Restructuring") at the same time as the Financing is closed. (NOTE - Stock trades under $1 per share)

XenoPort, Inc. (Nasdaq: XNPT) 28% HIGHER; Announced top-line results from a Phase 3 clinical trial of XP13512 for the treatment of symptoms of primary restless legs syndrome (RLS). XP13512 demonstrated statistically significant improvements compared to placebo on both of the co-primary endpoints of the trial and was well tolerated.

Charles & Colvard (Nasdaq: CTHR) 24.3% HIGHER; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.02, 7 cents worse than estimates.(0.09) Revenues were $5.8 million vs. $9.16 million consensus. Company announces 1 million share buyback, declares $0.08 dividend.

Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) 22.75% HIGHER; Reports Q1 EPS of $0.26 vs. consensus of 50.15 - may not be comparable. Revenues were $3.02 billion vs. $2.92 billion consensus. Sees Q2 revenues between $2.7-2.85 billion vs. $2.69 billion. Company approves $500 million stock buyback.

Travelzoo (Nasdaq: TZOO) 22.4% LOWER; Reports Q1 EPS of $0.25, 7 cents better than estimates.(0.32) Revenues were $19.7 million vs. $20.39 million consensus.

K2 Inc. (NYSE: KTO) 20% HIGHER; Jarden Corporation (NYSE: JAH) and K2 Inc. signed a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which Jarden will acquire K2. Under the terms of the agreement, Jarden will pay $10.85 per share of K2 common stock in cash and will issue 0.1086 of a share of Jarden common stock (subject to adjustment as provided in the merger agreement) for each share of K2 common stock outstanding as of the closing. The cash and Jarden stock to be issued in the transaction has a combined value of approximately $15.50 per K2 share, based on the closing price of Jarden common stock on the date of signing the merger agreement.

Teledyne Tech (NYSE: TDY) 12% HIGHER; Reports Q1 earnings of $0.57 per share, 7 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $385.6 million versus the consensus of $384.15 million. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.58-$0.61 versus the consensus of $0.57. Sees FY07 EPS of $2.42-$2.48 versus the consensus of $2.39.

Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Company (NYSE: HRH) 10% LOWER; Reports Q1 EPS of $0.69 vs. consensus of $0.81. Revenues were $198.2 million vs. $209.25 million consensus.

Advanced Medical Optics (NYSE: EYE) 9.2% HIGHER; Reports Q1 earnings of $0.23 per share, ex-items, 7 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $251.7 million versus the consensus of $242.5 million. Sees FY07 EPS of $1.40-$1.55 versus the consensus of $1.44. Sees FY08 EPS of $2.25-$2.40 versus the consensus of $2.16.

Western Union (NYSE: WU) 7.3% LOWER; Reports Q1 EPS of $0.25, in-line with estimates.(0.25) Revenues were $1.13 billion vs. $1.15 billion consensus.
