After-Hours Movers 9/8: CASY, SB, TXT Higher; UWBK, RPT, VGZ, RTI, PBY, AVAV, ENTG, EAC Lower

United Western Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: UWBK) 22.3% LOWER; has commenced a public offering of $80 million of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. United Western Bancorp intends to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the common stock sold to cover over-allotments, if any.

Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust (NYSE: RPT) 9.5% LOWER; announced today that it plans to sell 9 million newly issued common shares. The company also said it completed its review of strategic and financial alternatives. As a result, the company announced several management changes, cut its dividend and lowered its FY09 guidance.

Casey's General Stores (Nasdaq: CASY) 7.8% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.87, 27 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenue for the quarter was $1.19 billion, versus the consensus of $1.19 billion.

Vista Gold Corp (Amex: VGZ) 6.6% LOWER; intends to offer 8 million shares of its common stock pursuant to the Company's shelf registration statement filed with the SEC and a prospectus supplement to its base shelf prospectus filed with certain Canadian securities regulatory authorities. The Company intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1.2 million additional shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.

RTI International Metals, Inc. (NYSE: RTI) 6.3% LOWER; today announced that it plans to offer 5,000,000 shares of its common stock in a registered public offering. The offering is being underwritten by Citi and FBR Capital Markets. In addition, the Company expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.

Pep Boys (NYSE: PBY) 5.8% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.15, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter was $488.9 million, versus the consensus of $502.51 million.

AeroVironment, Inc. (Nasdaq: AVAV) 5.3% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.17, versus the analyst estimate of $0.13 and compared to a gain of $0.22 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $37.9 million, versus the consensus of $51.90 million.

Entegris, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENTG) 5.2% LOWER; reported that its net sales were approximately $71 million through the first nine weeks of the third quarter, which ends September 26, 2009, and indicated it currently estimates net sales will be at least $100 million for the full quarter. (Consensus is $91.96M) Entegris reported net sales of $82.6 million for the full second quarter ended June 27, 2009. The second and third quarters of 2009 each consists of 13 weeks. The Company's ability to achieve the estimated net sales for the quarter is subject to a number of factors, many of which are outside its control. The company also announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of up to 12.0 million shares of its common stock pursuant to the Company's shelf registration statement filed with the SEC. The underwriters will have the option to purchase up to an additional 1.8 million shares of common stock from the Company at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions, within 30 days, solely to cover over-allotments.

Encore Acquisition Company (NYSE: EAC) 4.6% LOWER; announced today a public offering of 2,750,000 shares of common stock. The Company did not grant the underwriter an option to purchase additional shares of common stock to cover over-allotments. The offering is expected to close on September 14, 2009. The net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used to repay amounts outstanding under Encore's revolving credit facility.

Flow International (Nasdaq: FLOW) 4.5% LOWER; reports a Q1 loss of $0.07, 1 cents worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter was $37.8 million, versus the consensus of $38.40 million.

Safe Bulkers, Inc. (NYSE: SB) 4.4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $1.07, versus the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter was $44.3 million, versus the consensus of $48.25 million. Maintains its quarterly dividend.

CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: CX) 3.5% LOWER; commenced a global public offering of 1,200 million of its Ordinary Participation Certificates, directly or in the form of American Depositary Shares, plus up to an additional 180 million CPOs, directly or in the form of ADSs, to cover over-allotment

Ameren Corporation (NYSE: AEE) 3.4% LOWER; announced its plan to offer 19,000,000 shares of its common stock and to grant the underwriters an option for a period of 30 days to purchase up to an additional 2,850,000 shares of its common stock.

Cree, Inc. (Nasdaq: CREE) 3.3% LOWER; today announced it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 11,000,000 shares of its common stock. The offering includes a 30-day option for the underwriters to purchase up to 1,650,000 additional shares to cover overallotments, if any. Cree is conducting the offering pursuant to an effective registration statement under the Securities Act of 1933.

Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (NYSE: PAA) 2.6% LOWER; announced today that it has commenced, subject to market conditions, an underwritten public offering of approximately 4.5 million of its common units representing limited partner interests. The Partnership also intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 675,000 additional common units to cover over-allotments, if any.

Lazard Ltd (NYSE: LAZ) 2.4% LOWER; Certain shareholders have agreed to sell 5,215,921 of their shares of Lazard Ltd Class A common stock in an underwritten public offering, Lazard announced today. Lazard will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares in the offering.

Textron (NYSE: TXT) 2% HIGHER; reaffirms its previously issued FY09 outlook. EPS, ex-items, are expected to be $0.33-$0.63, versus the consensus of ($0.04).

Nobel Learning Communities (Nasdaq: NLCI) 1% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.12, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.19.
