After-Hours Movers 05/21: (URBN) (ALXN) (NDSN) Higher; (HMPR) Lower
Hampton Roads Bankshares (Nasdaq: HMPR) 17% LOWER; today announced that it will undertake a capital raise of at least $80 million, but no more than $95 million through the sale of its common stock in a private placement and a public rights offering. The purpose of the capital raise is to satisfy all regulatory capital requirements and provide significant additional capital.
Urban Outfitters, Inc. (NASDAQ: URBN) 6.5% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.23, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $568.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $579.24 million.
Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALXN) 5% HIGHER; will replace Motorola Mobility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: MMI) in the S&P 500 index after the close of trading on Thursday, May 24.
Nordson Corp (NASDAQ: NDSN) 4.2% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.84, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.87. Revenue for the quarter came in at $315.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $321.16 million. Sees Q3 2012 EPS of $0.96-$1.04, versus the consensus of $0.86.
The Shaw Group Inc. (NYSE: SHAW) INDICATED HIGHER; today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell substantially all of its Energy & Chemicals business to Technip. Under the terms of the agreement, Technip will acquire substantially all of the business of the Energy & Chemicals Group for approximately $300 million in cash consideration, subject to adjustment based on the Energy & Chemicals Groups debt and working capital levels at closing.
