VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW) 10.8% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.48, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.42. Revenue for the quarter came in at $844 million versus the consensus estimate of $815.35 million. VMware, Inc. sees Q2 2011 revenue of $860-$880 million, versus the consensus of $845 million. VMware, Inc. sees FY2011 revenue of $3.55-$3.65 billion, versus the consensus of $3.52 billion.

Cree Inc. (NASDAQ: CREE) 6.4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.27, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $219.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $217.43 million. Sees Q4 adj-EPS 0.25 - 0.30 and sales of $225 - $245 million. Consensus sees EPS of $0.36 and revs of $243.79 million.

Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) 5% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.59, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $12.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $11.6 billion. Sees Q2 sales $12.8 billion, plus or minus $500 million. Street looking for sales of $11.85 billion.

Albemarle Corp. (NYSE: ALB) 4.4% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $1.15, $0.19 better than the analyst estimate of $0.96. Revenue for the quarter came in at $697 million versus the consensus estimate of $636.26 million.

Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE: JNPR) 3.6% HIGHER; reported Q1 adj-EPS of $0.32, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.1 billion. Sees Q2 sales of $1.13-$1.18 billion, vs. the consensus of $1.16 billion. Sees adj-EPS of 31-34c, which compares to the Street estimate of 36c.

United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE: URI) 3.4% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.32), $0.19 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.13). Revenue for the quarter came in at $523 million versus the consensus estimate of $550.29 million.

Wynn Resorts Ltd. (NASDAQ: WYNN) 2.9% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $1.38, $0.66 better than the analyst estimate of $0.72. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.26 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.14 billion.

Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) 2.8% HIGHER; reported Q1 adj-EPS of $0.19, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Ex-TAC revenue for the quarter came in at $1.06 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.06 billion. Sees Q2 revenue ex-TAC of $1.08-$1.13 billion, versus the consensus of $1.10 billion.

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX) 2.5% LOWER; expects to report a net loss for the first quarter of between $0.16 and $0.19 per share on revenues of approximately $283 million.

AMD (NYSE: AMD) 2% HIGHER; trading higher amid the numerous earnings beats in the tech sector.

IBM (NYSE: IBM) 2% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $2.41, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $2.30. Revenue for the quarter came in at $24.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $24 billion. Raises its FY11 EPS guidance from at least $13 to at least $13.15, versus the consensus of $13.08.

Stryker (NYSE: SYK) 1.8% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.90, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.89. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.02 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2 billion. Stryker sees FY2011 EPS of $3.65-$3.73, versus the consensus of $3.71.

Crown Holdings (NYSE: CCK) 1.7% HIGHER; reported Q1 adjuste EPS of $0.48, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.42. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.88 million versus the consensus estimate of $1.89 billion.

Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) 1.6% HIGHER; trading higher amid the numerous earnings beats in the tech sector.

Riverbed Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: RVBD) 1.5% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.20, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $163.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $161.02 million. Sees Q2 adj-EPS of about 21c, versus the analyst estimate of 20c. Sees sales of $171-$173 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $171.83 million.
